Chatterley Whitfield is an industrial time capsule and is widely acknowledged to be the most comprehensive surviving example of a deep mine site in England.
Here at Britain's biggest remaining colliery site, which has been designated by Historic England as an Scheduled Ancient Monument.

**** Our Heritage Centre, Remembrance Garden and Artefacts Building is now open every Thursday and Saturday morning from 10am till 1pm.  Site tour every first Sunday of the month.  Check out our Facebook Page for updates. ****
