Visiting Chatterley Whitfield
In the past, memberships used to run on a twelve month period from first of January. NOW you can become a member or renew your membership which will expire twelve months from the moment you join.
Chatterley Whitfield opens its' gates once a year at Heritage Open day, but you must book beforehand to gain access to the site.
Remember this is a derelict industrial site and you are advised to wear suitable strong footwear. Safety hats will be provided.
We have tried to make it easier to become a member of the Friends of Chatterley Whitfield and you now have a choice on how you pay your 12 (twelve) months membership:
You can make direct contact with us at the following email addresses:
Chair
chair@chatterleywhitfieldfriends.org.uk
Visiting Site
visits@chatterleywhitfieldfriends.org.uk
General Enquiries
chatterleywhitfieldfriends@hotmail.com
---------------------------------------------------------
We have a Facebook page as well and you can view it at Facebook Page
-------------------------------------------------------
To gain access to the members area of the site, you will need an up to date email address. You can generate your own user name when paying by Pay Pal and also your own passcode. If you pay by cash or cheque, once you details have been entered on the system, you will be sent your user name and passcode.
Your membership automatically covers you for insurance purposes when visiting the site.
Your membership is valid for twelve months.

Visit Enquiries
To visit the main site on days other than Heritage Open Days there is a protocol which needs to be adhered to, which starts with a request for a Permit to Access from Stoke on Trent City Council. This process can take up to 3 days. At present all visits are supervised by council staff.
